Civil Marriage Fees

Statutory Fees for all Civil Marriages

 

With effect from 01 April 2009 the fees set by the Registrar General by Act of Parliament are:

 

Statutory Fee's for Civil Marriages

2 Persons submitting a Marriage Notice (Non-refundable)	£56.00
Marriage Certificate (Current Register Only)	£9.00
Civil Marriage Solemnisation Fee	£50.00
Total	£115.00

 

 

Additional Fees for Civil Marriages set by Falkirk Council

 

 

The Authorised Registrar Attendance Fee set by Falkirk Council in addition to the above Statutory Fees for a Civil Marriage are:

 

Additional Marriage Fees

For a ceremony in an Approved Licensed Venue	£175.00
For a ceremony in a Falkirk Council Ceremony room at weekends or outwith normal business hours	£175.00
Total	£290.00

 

 

Additional Fees for Civil Marriages set by Falkirk Council on Public Holidays

 

The Authorised Registrar Attendance Fee set by Falkirk Council in addition to the Statutory Fees for a Civil Marriage Ceremony on a Public Holiday are:

 

Additional Fees on Public Holidays

For a ceremony in an Approved Licensed Venue	£225.00
For a ceremony in a Falkirk Council Ceremony  room at weekends or outwith normal business hours	£225.00
