Home Help Providers

This information is to help you organise a home help service. That is, domestic assistance in your own home, for example, light housework such as hoovering, dusting and shopping.  The providers' names, found in the database below, have been taken from Falkirk Council's Housing and Social Work Service Approved Providers List.

 

These agencies and others on the Approved Providers List may also offer other more specialist services, for example personal care. They may have some special skill that is required for someone with special care needs, for example someone who has dementia or a learning disability. If you require additional information about specialist services please contact the agency direct. 

 

When making private arrangements please bear in mind the following questions:

• What tasks do I want help with?
• How often do I need help?
• What is the total cost to me?
• Are there different charges for different times of the day or week?
• Will I have the same carer?
• How can I alter or stop this arrangement?
