Community Planning Theme Groups
The work of the Community Planning Partnership is progressed by 6 theme groups. The theme groups report to the Partnership Board. The groups have responsibility for:

Co-ordinating the work and ensuring satisfactory progress of subordinate partnership groups that they are responsible for. This includes identifying all current partnership activity that relates to theme.

Ensuring that key priorities and action plans are realised. This includes responsibility for monitoring achievement and progress towards outcomes within Outcome Agreements or other formal agreements made with the Scottish Executive to secure funding to support the work of the partnership.

Contributing to the Strategic Community Plan including the determination of priorities and action plans in their area of responsibility.

Preparing, monitoring and evaluation returns for the Scottish Executive and performance and progress reports for the Partnership Board.

Assessing and making recommendations on Funding Applications

Reporting publicly on progress and key achievements on behalf of the partnership.

Ensuring that Community Engagements activity is consistent with the Partnerships Strategy.

Responding to requests for information

Co-ordinating its work with other theme groups and with the Community Planning Partnership as a whole.

Ensuring that the group operates in a manner which is consistent with Best Value

Ensuring that communication and the dissemination of information is effective and efficient.
