The Partnership Board
The work of the Community Planning Partnership is overseen by a Leadership Group that comprises the Chair, Chief Executives and senior officers of a number of organisations. It is chaired by the Leader of Falkirk Council and comprises of representatives of the following organisations:
The Leadership Group provides political and strategic direction for Community Planning in the area. The Group also holds the partnership to account for its performance to ensure that it achieves its key priorities and outcomes. The key responsibilities of the Leadership Group include:

Championing Community Planning

Tackling barriers

Identifying and actioning opportunities for further development

Ensuring the commitment of key partners to the process

Co-ordinating the work of the partnership at a strategic level, including ensuring joint action on cross cutting issues.

Define priorities and approve the Strategic Community Plan

Liasing with the Scottish Government.
The Community Planning Partnership prepares a Strategic Community Plan once every five years. This comprises a vision for the Falkirk Council area as well as key priorities are outlined within six themes as follows:
